Norman Chandler, the Executive Director of the Alabama Captive Association, was recently named to the 2020 Power 50 List by Captive Review magazine. The Power 50 recognizes the global industry’s most influential leaders who have had a positive impact on the captive industry over the past 12 months and are in a position to continue influencing the industry’s future progress.

The Power 50 represents captive professionals who are visible, influential, innovative and respected by their peers. The professionals on the Power 50 list are leaders in the captive field due to their influence and motivation to enhance the industry in innovative ways. They are also well respected and give back to the industry, sharing their talents and expertise to help the captive community grow and improve.

Chandler has over fifteen years of experience in program design along with directing audits, accounting, compliance, and taxation engagements for insurance organizations in the world’s leading domiciles. He invests a great deal of time in continuing professional education in order to maintain the expertise required to work and consult with insurance organizations. He continues to positively impact the captive insurance industry through various innovations from drafting and updating legislation and regulation, to opening the first and only service provider in the State of Alabama and expanding Arsenal’s operations to all of the top domiciles in the world.
